In March, SAIF launched a $10 million worker safety fund that SAIF policy holders could apply for assistance in taking measures to keep employees safe during the pandemic. After just five days and 1,300 applications, the fund hit capacity and stopped accepting new applications.
However, this morning, SAIF announced that it was adding $15 million more to the fund and was reopening the application fund. The fund is designed to support employee safety, reduce injuries, and decrease exposures by helping businesses impacted by the coronavirus. More than 53,000 SAIF policyholders, including OBI CompSAFE members, are eligible for funds. Apply today!
