Please Describe Your Business: Located in Dundee in the gem of the Red Hills, Vino Vista is Gael Properties’ first luxury vacation rental. Built in 1959, much of the home’s original mid-century modern architectural charm was spared and incorporated into the property’s complete remodel in 2018 & 2019. Lord Interior Design of Lake Oswego was recruited to transform outdated aesthetics into a modern-day retro retreat and destination. Every detail from the color palette to the fixture selections and artwork is true to the mid-century theme.
The 2,060 square foot, three-bedroom home offers two king beds, one queen, plus two sleeper sofas to accommodate a maximum of 10 guests. Mt. Hood can be seen from numerous vantage points, including the top floor master bedroom, which also offers a colorful, naturally lit wet bathroom to easily accommodate two people. The spacious living and dining rooms share a see-through fireplace. Both rooms draw immediate attention with floor to ceiling windows capturing a 270-degree stunning view of the east, south and west Chehalem Valley. The kitchen is equipped with new state-of-the-art appliances, including a down draft gas range and quiet dishwasher. The custom cabinets with stylish quartz countertops are filled with everything necessary to create a five-course meal prepared by guests, or a private chef.
The two downstairs bedrooms are conveniently separated by a large den with a built-in wet bar, offering just the right amount of privacy. A full bathroom and second fireplace are also found on the lower level, along with a sliding door for easy access to an inviting manicured lawn large enough for a relaxing game of badminton or bocce ball. Both the upper and lower levels serve as open and spacious entertainment areas.
The home’s stunning beauty is a precursor to the scenic wine valley journey that awaits. The location was strategically selected in the heart of Chehalem and Willamette Valley; home to hundreds of world-renowned vineyards and tasting rooms.
