The proposed Craft Industrial District on the West End of Downtown was approved at the City Council meeting last night, January 6, 2025. This will create a new district downtown to keep the industrial feel of the west end of downtown. It was heard by the Planning Commission on 12-12-24 with a slight amendment recommended to allow warehouse uses in the proposed district if they are “railroad-oriented”.
