Mission Statement

Founded in 2021, our mission is to provide peace of mind to our clients before, during, and long after their home inspection. We accomplish this by using the tools of the trade, keeping ourselves up on all aspects of home construction, and making ourselves available for one-on-one discussions at any point. We are not only inspectors, we consider ourselves consultants. That means we not only discuss the deficiencies of a house, but we also talk about the good aspects of the house. Every house has a story, and it is our goal to clearly explain its story in a non-alarming manner that allows our clients and their representing agents to have all of the information they need to go into the negotiating process.

Business Industry Standing

Communication is Key. I try to live by the golden rule of treating others how I want to be treated. That means answering my phone, promptly texting back, quickly emailing a response, or letting someone know I am tending to their request. It is very simple in nature, and I believe easier than ever these days. I have been told that with the short timelines in Real Estate transactions, timely communication is key.

Customer Engagement

I am not only a business owner in Newberg, but I am a resident of 20 years with children that have gone thru and are going thru the school system. Both have been very active in sports, and various community organizations. As a family, we spend a lot of time in Yamhill County. My clients aren’t only moving into a home, they’re moving into a community. I love being an advocate of Yamhill County, and a resource of it to my clients.

Misconceptions

I do not offer any repair services, though I have a wealth of knowledge on fixing a house. I grew up working in my family’s Hardware Store where I explained to customers how to fix and repair plumbing, electrical, roofing, etc. since I was 10 years old. I often find myself explaining my findings like I still work at the hardware store….. ” This is leaking, but you can buy a 99-cent washer at the hardware store and fix it yourself.”….but I do not perform repair services.

Starting Up Stories

I am often asked for local contractors or businesses that offer repair services. I usually reach out to the real estate agents I work with and ask who they recommend, or who they’ve work with. Being in the Chamber now I am looking forward to expanding my network, which will ultimately benefit my clients.

Name Origin Story

The Oregon State official gem is the Oregon Sunstone. When choosing a company name it met all the requirements and has proven to be easy to market.
