What is your Mission? To provide a unique “spin” on the Oregon Wine Tour experience.

Please Describe Your Business: Wine de Roads cycling tours provides a different “spin” on the wine tour experience. Located in the heart of Oregon Wine Country, Wine de Roads is fortunate to have bike access to four of Oregon’s premiere wine AVAs. Our tours provide breathtaking views of the Chehalem Valley while riding at a leisurely pace with stops between wineries to learn more about this beautiful area.

How Does Your Business/Product/Service Stand Out In The Industry? Our experience has been that cycling through an area allows us to fully appreciate the region with all of our senses. This is such a gorgeous region and we wanted to share this way of experiencing it with others.

Do You Have Any Stories To Share About Customers’ Reactions to Your Business/Product/Service? People have really appreciated learning about the history, geography, agriculture and other tid-bits presented about the area on the rides. All have communicated how great it is to experience the tour by bike.

Are There Any Misconceptions About Your Business? At this time we do not rent bikes. Bikes, helmets, and vests are provided for our tour riders. Our pace is leisurely and centered toward an enjoyable ride.

If Your Business Has A Unique Name, Please Provide The Background: Since our business involves cycling, we wanted to play off the Tour de France and we thought of using vine or wine in our name. We originally started with “Tour de Vine” but it was too close to another company – and we didn’t want to get confused with them. We tried again with Wine-dy Roads but at first glance it kind of looked like “windy.” Inserting “de” after “wine” looked perfect and fit our theme. Not everyone gets the name at first, but when they do, their faces light up when they realize the connection.
